Market Common Cyclists are choosing to put their health and their community first.

There is a pace and a place for all riders  who come the Pee Dee organizers say

A group of Market Common cyclists made up of residents,  Myrtle Beach residents, and even some tourists meet at Pee Dee Bicycles  every Thursday night starting at around 6 p.m.  These cyclists are choosing community, health and fellowship as a regular part of their active week.

Riders range from social, casual bikers to a more intense “A” group that holds a much faster, more active  pace.  There is a pace and a place for all riders who come weekly the Pee Dee organizers say.  Riders are encouraged to ride at their own comfortable pace.

Residents tour the entire Market Common district which features wide bike paths and even some awesome back street trails.

Pee Dee Bicycles of Market Common puts on the event.  The ride is held every Thursday with all riders hitting the streets at 6:30 p.m. on the nose.  After the event ends,  the group heads over to Remedies for drinks, eats, cooling down and connecting.

The event is fun,  it’s free, and held consistently year round.

The best news is,  you don’t have to live in Market Common to join in.  Pee Dee Bicycles welcomes anyone who wishes to join, including tourists who happen to be in town.
