Coupon Books (Budget Tip)
Per our normal advice, always look for coupons in the myriad books around your resort and the general area. You'll find coupons for discounts on the cover rate, and offering free chips to get started.

Know something about gambling (Budget Tip)
Learn something about the games you will play on the cruise. For example, if you are going to play Blackjack, know the basic strategies. You can find guides all over the internet. Craps is the best odds to the gambler, but the most complicated to learn. Stay far, far away from the Roulette wheel. Slots are an innocuous and faily slow way to lose your money. Not much skill is required one way or the other.

If you haven't done much casino gambling, set a limit for your gambling loss before you embark. Then when you hit that limit, STOP. Don't decide that you are "due" for a big score because you've been losing for a while. Everyone in casinos loses for a while, and then a while more, and then a while more, as a rule. That is why casinos stay in business.

If you are lucky enough to get a couple of hundred dollars ahead, take it and run for the buffet, and stay there!

In the main, try to stay as close to even as possible and take advantage of free drinks and food when you can.
