Few people come to Myrtle Beach without wanting to sample the fresh seafood which can be obtained on a daily basis. Most seafood restaurants are informal and have a family atmosphere. It doesn’t matter if you prefer buffet style to sample a wide variety of succulent treats or order from a menu to get your favorite choice. There are many restaurants from which to choose. Restaurants start as far south as Murrells Inlet, SC and go as far north as Calabash, NC.

Recommendation
Our personal favorite which offers both buffet style dining and menu selection dining is Bennett’s located at 29th Street and Kings Highway. We have never gone away hungry. The food is fantastic and the service is excellent.

We always order the Fried Shrimp platter with french fries. The shrimp and french fried both melt in your mouth. Their complimentary hush puppies are excellent. The store at Restaurant is not as consistent, so make sure you visit the location at 29th Street.

Coupons (Budget Tip)
Don't go anywhere in Myrtle Beach until you have picked up one of the very thick coupon books. You'll find discounts for virtually every restaurant, store, and leisure activity.

These books can be found prominently displayed in virtually every hotel and motel, kiosks and pamphlet displays in shopping areas, in front of and in the lobby of restaurants, and sometimes even inside your room.
